Deirdre Rogers is a PhD student at Bowling Green State
University in Ohio. Though her studies are in Criminology,
she in her usual fashion of never-say-die, began developing
web sites for the university.
She works with her husband, Jason Rogers, as a team to
develop web sites. Her recent accomplishments on the web
include the Graduate Student Senate at BGSU, and the Women's
Hockey Team (again at BGSU).
Her skills include:
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- Web Graphics
She strongly believes that web sites should be accessible
to the masses and thus her creative process is focused
on web standards and user interface simplicity. By focusing
on user interface simplicity, she feels that the user is
empowered to gain access to the information that they need.
The burden is on developers to make things easier for the
visitor.
Currently
she holds a bachelors degree in Psychology from San Jose
State. The knowledge she received from her psychology
studies influences her design as she works toward making
things
easy for the human mind to understand.
